WATCH AND WORK
In 1923 when you talk of Men with affluent and influence
both National and International…you put these men first; Charles Schwab,(Head of the largest independent steel company) Samuel Insull(president of the world
largest utility). Howard Hopson, Ivar
Kreugar, Leon Frazier, Richard Whitney, Arthur Cotton and Albert Fall. All wealthy with great
influence to the society as at then.
But…
nine years after, Charles Schwab lived on debt for
over five years and died penniless.. Samuel insull also died broke in a foreign
land.. Howard Hopson went insane before his death.. Leon Frazier and Livermore committed suicide. Ivar Kreugar and Arthur Cotton also died miserably broke. Whitney and Albert Fall were just
released from jail sentence.
REFLECTS: Certainly, everyone wanted to be like these
Men in their early days…yet-- no one wants be like them nine years later…
Somehow these once wealthy fellows would have felt comfortable with their
heights, got carried away and went to sleep when they ought to be watching and
protecting their “LIVES” yet they
impacted no value in the life of those close to them. What they fail to
understand is… a man’s Life is not qualified by the abundance of his Riches and
Possessions-- instead, it is qualified by his VALUES and that of those who surrounds Him.
BE WORTHWHILE!!!
