LIFE RACE 2
Life is a stage race
We call it a generational race
The relay race…an unending life race
A team spirit-filled race
Everyone as important as the other
We can’t afford to slack
It’s a must to leave a legacy
Make the spectators passionately yearn for more.
Oh yes! Aware of the heat
A race designed for you and me.
The generation who holds the baton…
Wield a great influence on the next.
Very well then...pace and strength of our generation
Is a determinant factor to the coming soon.
Only the less privilege ‘Ginis’ can do the extraordinary
It’s an unending race for we phenomenon.
A relay race suitable for the fit...
Unbearable for us handicaps.
Yet; against all odds we can do the magic!
Springing up much surprise…
Oh yes! A race where the first could turn last…vies-versa!
You can’t predict…leave it to the seers.
Anyways…let’s admit it happens by default
Our eagle eye on
the tiny green-light down the tunnel.
Alas! The upper-class passes the baton
The anticipating generation grabs it
Two things are
involved; the Expected and Unexpected!
Hmm…they stumble, the
class crumbles
Spectators yell! They
couldn’t keep the pace!
A wasteful generation!
Lazy generation! Hmm...
Never forget, it’s an
unending race.
The hopes are always
alive…Never say Never!!!
Down town, the
handicaps pass the baton
Hmm… what a detriment
on our path.
Well… Mr. Nature gives us a
chance
Two choices are
involved: GO FOR IT or LET IT GO!
A perfect time for Decision...But I insist-GO FOR IT!
Possibly we can turn
things around.
Although we can only
play the catch-up
Let’s make the
enthusiast spectators giggle.
To break these
barriers? Let’s turn the odds around.
We must set our
ideologies right,
Turn them to become
realistic.
Look… we must become
the exceptional men
The sparkling light
that spurs on the spectators to life
Suddenly set the talking point.
Fight our way through; let’s enjoy the moment
This will surely last;
What a Race!
At the right time we
pass the baton,
Engulfed with numerous
questions; we ask...
Are you able enough to
collect this baton?
Can you keep up with
the pace?
Hope you won’t let the
coming soon down?
Well…we’ve set the pace in the race
Keep on racing for years with no finish line
Never stop chasing!
Everyman for himself; know
your race
You must maintain your
lane
Whether you wax old or
die young
Remember…Life is a
competition.
Few struggle for
rivalry
Many struggle for
survival
Alas! The rule is
simple…
Maintain your lane…it’s
a race.
Oh! Even if I start like
the tortoise!
Slow and steady, I keep
moving
Call me an invidious
poor racer, I don’t mind.
Hear me! I am an
inveterate racer.
Weariness won’t make me
halt!
I can only stop when I
cross the line.
My winning spirit is
what turns me a cheetah
Alas! I have made the
finish line… MY PREY!!!
