LIFE RACE
CHAPTER 1...
Verse 1:
Life is a race, involves you and I.
Life is a
race with race's faces.
Racing is survival of the fittest.
Life…a
cunning race, unpredictable
A race for
the able minds
A magic
race for the fast, focused and furious.
Better than the best is essential! spectators loves to cheer.
Verse 2:
Life is a
stage race
Some run the 100 metres
ephemeral it is...
for the achieved and unachieved
All are in
this race.
Although
you live it short,
Once
achieved! You get reckoned with.
Otherwise!
You are left alone all by yourself; in your wildest dream, you wonder away
We call it the100metre
life race.
That magic moment!
Fast as the
speed of light. Earlier the better
Abracadabra!✨ like a flash
Bolt to the finish line.
As the memories
of greatness never fade.
So is the memory to memorize for years.
Alas! As we party the moment, comes "the keeper"; lifeless but powerful.
What is it?
Why are you here?
Why should
it be now?
Can you
spare a little more time?
Allow us enjoy the moment…haba!
NO! the "keeper" replied,
I am the
whistle-blower, and the race is over.
The Life is
mine… oh!
In agony we
ponder, wondering… What a LIFE!
Life is a
stage race
Call it the
400metre race
You’ll almost think the keeper lost his watch.
Only to find out...
A life of strife,
hustle and bustle.
A race for
the strong and rugged
Here...You’ll
need the help of Mr. Endurance
Only if you
can push to the end; the crown is yours.
Spectators say; it’s a long boring race
Yet, filled
with much enthusiast
Anxiety makes it more frustrating
The last
lap is the determinant
Remember
there’s only one goal,
Verse 4:
Anticipations high…keep going!
Of high hopes; keep hoping!
Struggling
to finish is taskful
Remember…unlike the 100 metre racers; You can't win young
Only in shrinkage, when the bones are weak... Cross the line to victory.
Catch your breath…enjoy the moment.
Hope it lasts forever...
At sunsets! You need a nap
Relishing with much experience
Iconic experience, generations look upto.
After all…comes the keeper
The
inevitable whistle blower
O vulnerable racer…give to keeper what belongs to keeper.
Now the
race is over…take a bow
Alas! The
end justified the means
The
fugitive gave it all
Sleeps
tight…rest in peace my friend.
The
spectators can cheer…
